Step 2

Design

During your in-home consultation, a member of the design team will complete a free 20-point deck check, present options based on your unique preferences and property, and create a digital design of your plan. Once you chose to move forward, our in-house staff will handle all paperwork, fees, and communication with the township to secure the necessary permits on your behalf.

What you can expect from our really cool deck design appointments is really an expert to come out and help you walk through the entire process. So he starts by inspecting your deck because what we need to do is find out if your deck is repairable or if it needs full replacement. So by starting there, we know if we're able to start with a blank canvas or if we're working with what we got. The next thing we're gonna do is go through all the options with you because every small detail and product that you might pick vastly can change the price. So it's not always just a simple square foot price, there's a lot of detail that goes into crafting the perfect deck for you and getting that price where it makes sense, so that way we can all move forward and be happy with the decision.
Step 3

Build

Before building begins, a member of the team will reach out with dates for the delivery of materials and dumpster, and crew arrival. Green Shield will efficiently build your deck, completing the work over a 5-6 day period without interruptions.

This part of your process is the most fun part because your deck is actually getting built. What's gonna happen is we're gonna let you know multiple days before your project starts on when your materials and dumpster, the bathroom, and when the crew will arrive. Mind you, these are tentative dates and we will show you the same courtesy as we show our previous customer that we do not leave your project until the project is complete. We're really excited to get this project started and completed for you. The vast majority of projects are done on an average of five to six days, so the goal is to get out very quickly so that way you can get on to enjoying your deck. The other great thing about this process is you actually get to experience the awesome Green Shield team. Green Shield uses w two employees who have been vetted and trained to the highest standards in the industry to deliver the best deck, which is, as you may know, the Green Shield forever deck.
