It's actually, much more advanced than, just square footage, linear foot of rail. And what would you say that ArcSite's, you know, allowed you to do now versus something that wasn't possible before? Being able to price at the same time as drawing has been probably the biggest, benefit to us because a lot of our competitors, it's all of them that I know of, will price the deck by square footage and linear foot of rail because it's the easiest thing for, someone in the field to build to do. But what we were finding is unless you're extremely, in tune with what products you're using in the whole building practice, it's very difficult to accurately price and that's why you see quotes. What Green Shield was able to do is use ArcSite's powerful tool, to create every single product detail. As they draw the deck, it's actually, much more advanced than, just square footage, linear foot of rail. We're able to take things into account like height above deck, height of the deck, the amount of concrete that needs cut, lots of things that you wouldn't be able to necessarily bring in. So, like angled deck boards, for example, how many posts the deck has are all just examples of things that you wouldn't necessarily capture just by going by square foot and linear foot. It'll just never be accurate. So, you could be overcharging a really easy job or undercharging a complex job and you wouldn't really know until the project's done. It's just not fair to the customers that have a more simple deck that they should have to pay to kind of off offset the more complex projects. We want to be able to price super accurately and very specific to what we have, versus maybe something off the shelf that would be, very general or inaccurate, which is very important because the last thing a homeowner would like is a change order midway through the project because, hey, I I priced it wrong. Right? When GreenShield gives you a price, GreenShield's price is right because we're using ArcSight and ArcSight's tools.

Green Shield wants to make sure you, your family, and friends can enjoy quality time on the deck. Faulty railings, loose deck boards, and hidden moisture are all risks to your family and friends. Don’t hesitate to have a Green Shield Deck Designer check your deck.
Your 20-point Deck Check will be conducted by your personal Green Shield Deck Designer. They will visit your home to look at your current deck and surrounding structures. As employees of Green Shield, our Deck Designers are trained and trusted to provide expert decking advice to homeowners.
Green Shield’s NADRA partnership is part of our commitment to year-round deck safety. As a NADRA Safety Ambassador, Green Shield Deck Builders helps to raise awareness of the risks bad decks pose and provides options to homeowners. Our Deck Checks are free of charge. Homeowners are encouraged to have their deck inspected annually.
The duration of your Deck Check depends on the size, age, and materials of your existing structure. Green Shield designers are trained to identify rot and mildew, which may require accessing framing or moving furniture. To ensure a thorough safety evaluation, please allow a minimum of 90 minutes for the appointment.
