Description

Green Shield believes a deck should be a permanent asset, not a recurring headache. Our process is built on smarter engineering and straight talk, ensuring your project is handled with professional precision from the first inspection to the final board.

The Green Shield Process:

  • The 20-Point Inspection: Our team begins with a thorough evaluation of your current structure’s "bones." We provide a professional assessment of whether your deck can be repaired or if a full replacement is required to meet our structural standards.
  • Dead-Accurate Pricing: Green Shield refuses to use generic square-foot estimates. We provide a locked-in, precise quote based on your specific design and material choices, so there are no surprises mid-build.
  • Professional Management: Our team handles the heavy lifting, including all blueprints and municipal permits. We manage the logistics of material and dumpster deliveries so you don't have to.
  • Skilled Craftsmanship: Your deck is built by Green Shield W-2 employees—not subcontractors. Our dedicated crews typically complete your project in 5–6 days, remaining on-site until the job meets our premier standards.

Built to Last: Every Green Shield deck is backed by a transferable lifetime warranty. We provide the bridge between elite materials and a reliably engineered reality that stays maintenance-free for the life of your home.

The Green Shield process starts by giving Green Shield a call or filling out the form on our website. So that way we can set up a deck design at your home. What you can expect from our really cool deck design appointments is really an expert to come out and help you walk through the entire process. So he starts by inspecting your deck because what we need to do is find out if your deck is repairable or if it needs full replacement. The next thing we're gonna do is go through all the options with you because every small detail and product that you might pick vastly can change the price. So it's not always just a simple square foot price. There's a lot of detail that goes into crafting the perfect deck for you. From there, after we're hired and we're ready to move forward, we're gonna schedule a second measure. So we will come out and double check with you that everything that you designed makes sense to you and to us before we finalize the blueprints and the material list. So this part of your process is really cool. This is the permitting process. And the reason I say it's cool is because it's completely hands off for you, the customer. Green Shield handles the entire permit process. We've got a great staff in house that handles this. We will fill out all the necessary paperwork to make sure your deck project is set up for success. So this part of your process is the most fun part because your deck is actually getting built. What's gonna happen is we're gonna let you know multiple days before your project starts on when your materials and dumpster, the bathroom, and when the crew will arrive. Mind you, these are tentative dates. We do not leave your project until the project is complete. The vast majority of projects are done on an average of five to six days. The other great thing about this process is you actually get to experience the awesome Green Shield team. Green Shield uses w-two employees who have been vetted and trained to the highest standards in the industry to deliver the best deck, which is, as you may know, the Green Shield Forever deck. Every single Green Shield deck is backed by our lifetime warranty, so you're gonna be able to enjoy it for years to come.
