Green Shield Process: The Build

Green Shield believes that the construction process should be as reliably engineered as the deck itself. Our team provides clear communication and professional consistency to ensure your project moves from materials on-site to a completed "Forever Deck" with minimal disruption.

The Professional Build Standard:

• Clear Logistics: You will receive advanced notice for the delivery of materials, the redbox+ site system, and the crew’s arrival. Green Shield follows a strict "completion first" policy—once our team begins your project, we remain on-site until the build is finished.
• Efficient Timelines: Most Green Shield projects are completed within five to six days. Our goal is to bridge the gap between demolition and your first afternoon on your new deck as efficiently as possible without compromising structural integrity.
• Skilled W-2 Craftsmen: Your deck is built by dedicated Green Shield W-2 employees, not third-party subcontractors. These craftsmen are trained to the highest industry standards to ensure every board and fastener meets the requirements of a Green Shield Forever Deck.

This part of your process is the most fun part because your deck is actually getting built. What's gonna happen is we're gonna let you know multiple days before your project starts on when your materials and dumpster, the bathroom, and when the crew will arrive. Mind you, these are tentative dates and we will show you the same courtesy as we show our previous customer that we do not leave your project until the project is complete. We're really excited to get this project started and completed for you. The vast majority of projects are done on an average of five to six days, so the goal is to get out very quickly so that way you can get on to enjoying your deck. The other great thing about this process is you actually get to experience the awesome Green Shield team.
