Deck Tour: Tigerwood and Tropical Walnut with Walkout Package
This twenty-six-foot lakeside deck features glass railings, wide steps, and maintenance-free, two-tone durability.
Description
Green Shield believes a lakefront view is too valuable to be blocked by "post city." For this 26-foot lakeside project, Green Shield utilized an engineered beam to eliminate the need for mid-span supports, creating an open, functional space below the deck.
The Design Standard:
- Unobstructed Views: To preserve the horizon, Green Shield installed premier aluminum glass railings. This "no monkey business" approach ensures a clear line of sight to the water without sacrificing structural safety.
- Timeless Color Palette: The project features a two-tone, maintenance-free combination of "Tigerwood" boards paired with a "Walnut" frame. This aesthetic provides a high-ROI look that resists the elements better than traditional wood.
Green Shield provides the bridge between elite craftsmanship and reliably engineered builds. Visit the Green Shield website to read our latest blog posts or find a local open house to see these standards in person.
