• Engineered Foundation: This project is built on a KDAT (Kiln Dried After Treatment) structural frame. By utilizing kiln-dried lumber, Green Shield ensures the Tropical Walnut surfacing sits on a foundation that won’t warp, twist, or pull, preserving the deck's clean lines for a lifetime.
• The Drink Rail Advantage: We topped the bronze aluminum baluster railings with a Hazelwood drink rail. This functional addition provides a flat, stable surface for entertaining, turning the perimeter of the deck into a usable social zone without the need for extra furniture.
• The Tropical Aesthetic: We utilized wood-free Tropical Walnut composite to deliver the rich, variegated tones of natural timber. Unlike real walnut, this reliably engineered reality refuses to fade, splinter, or require annual staining—even under the heavy Midwest sun.
