• KDAT Stability: Because this is a second-story build, we utilized a KDAT (Kiln Dried After Treatment) structural frame. This ensures the deck’s foundation is pre-shrunk and stable, preventing the warping and "deck pull" that can occur with traditional pressure-treated wood.
• Bold Tigerwood Aesthetic: We achieved the striking, variegated look of exotic hardwood using our wood-free Tigerwood composite. When paired with sleek black aluminum baluster railings, it creates a modern, high-end finish that refuses to fade, rot, or splinter.
• Vertical Integration: By using a specialized W-2 crew for this installation, we ensured the walkout basement remains a clean, usable space. The precision of our framing provides a reliably engineered ceiling for the lower level, doubling the home’s functional footprint.
