Description

Green Shield believes that a deck should be both a sanctuary and a secure perimeter. This dual-deck project features separate 320 and 184-square-foot zones designed to create a premier transition between the home’s interior and the pool, all while maintaining our 20-point safety standard.

The Anatomy of a Specialized Build:

  • Custom Integrated Seating: The standout feature is a handcrafted Ash Gray bench with a Hazelwood center. This isn't just a piece of furniture; it is an architectural extension of the deck’s hardworking backbone, engineered to provide maintenance-free lounging without cluttering the deck with loose chairs.
  • Poolside Safety Access: We integrated a custom-matched gate near the pool area. By using the same black aluminum baluster rails for the gate as the rest of the perimeter, our team provided a secure safety barrier that maintains the home's modern aesthetic.
  • KDAT Structural Stability: Because poolside environments are high-moisture zones, we utilized a KDAT (Kiln Dried After Treatment) frame. This pre-shrunk lumber ensures that the dual-deck structures remain perfectly level and resistant to the "twisting" often seen in standard pressure-treated pool decks.

Green Shield refuses to compromise on safety or style. Whether you need integrated seating or specialized pool access, our in-house W-2 craftsmen deliver a reliably engineered reality that lasts a lifetime. Visit the Green Shield website to explore more poolside designs and start your maintenance-free transformation.
