Stair Landings
Stair Landings help break up long flights offering aesthetic opportunities and safety in the event of a trip or fall. The International Residential Code (IRC) requires that approximately every 12.5 feet a landing is needed. Placement and functionality should be carefully considered for multi-story homes, on sand dunes, and sloped properties. Stair landings also offer the opportunity to change the direction of your deck stairs and can be great for reducing your deck’s overall footprint.
