Riser Board
The Riser Board is the vertical board connecting the back of one stair tread to the front of the next. Riser boards provide a safety barrier that protects feet while climbing the stairs and provides a closed off finished look to your deck stairs. Leading deck builders can also provide riser boards in a range of colors to accent the colors of your main deck boards, fascia, and pictureframe.
