Deck Drainage
Drainage on a deck is about making sure that water and moisture do not accumulate on the deck boards. As a deck is built proper gapping, ventilation, and flashing will allow for water to drain away from the deck. Decks that do not have proper drainage will quickly decay and can retain moisture allowing mold and mildew to form.
