Copper Azole Type C (CA-C)
Copper Azole Type C (CA-C) is a widely used pressure-treatment that protects lumber from fungal decay and termites. CA-C offers broad-spectrum protection by using a combination of copper and co-biocide azole. CA-C meets EPA standards and the standards set by the American Wood Protection Association (AWPA). CA-C replaced older CCA treatments after they were phased out in 2003.
